Slalom competition held in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India

Nepal Rafting and Canoeing Association won the gold medal in the competition by scoring 120 points. Nepal won the bronze medal in the slalom competition held in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India, with 80 points. Nepal finished fourth in the down river with 60 points. Nepal finished second in the overall team. The Nepali players include Sabin Gurung, Shaktikumar Gurung, Vijay Gurung, Dambar Bahadur Purbachhane and Dipesh Pun Magar. The team is coached by Bhishma Thapaliya and managed by Mahesh Thapa.
